Company Information: Yogl Limited, operating under the ABC.AR brand, is a domain name registrar for the .AR country code top-level domain (ccTLD). Our registered office is located at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, UK, Company Number 15354589.

Service Overview: We specialize in offering domain registration services under the .AR domain, primarily through a Trustee service model, which is provided free of charge to our clients.

Eligibility and Registration Process

  • Open Eligibility: The .AR domain registration is open to all applicants, irrespective of their geographical location or entity type. However, due to the peculiarities of domain registration in Argentina, it is essential to note that domain registration does not occur instantly. The process typically takes from 2 to 24 hours. We understand the importance of a swift registration process and will make every effort to expedite this timeframe. Upon successful registration, we will notify the client immediately to ensure transparency and timely communication. This notification will enable clients to proceed with their online activities without unnecessary delays.
  • Trustee Service: Registrations are processed exclusively through our Trustee service. Yogl Limited undertakes to act as the formal registrar of the client's domain, assuming responsibility for fulfilling all the client's requirements and obligations regarding this domain. This commitment is in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the National Registry of .AR domains in Argentina and the Terms of Service outlined herein.
    As the Trustee, Yogl Limited facilitates the domain registration process by handling the complexities on behalf of the client. This includes ensuring compliance with the specific requirements set forth by NIC Argentina, managing necessary documentation, and liaising with relevant authorities to secure and maintain the registration of the client's domain. Clients can rely on Yogl Limited to navigate the intricacies of the registration process and adhere to the regulations established by the National Registry of .AR domains, thereby providing a seamless and secure domain registration experience.
  • Special Domain Approvals: Please be aware that all 1-3 character domains and domains containing special terms as defined by the National Registry of .AR domains are subject to Registry approval. The approval process for such domains takes longer, typically ranging from 2 to 10 days. We appreciate your understanding as this additional step is necessary to comply with the specific regulations set by NIC Argentina. Rest assured that we will diligently facilitate this approval process and keep clients informed about the status of their domain registration.

Fees and Payments

  • Fee Structure: Our fees cover domain registration, renewal, and transfer services. Specific fees for each service are listed on our website and are subject to change.
  • Payment Terms: Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods specified on our website. All fees are due upon invoicing and are non-refundable except as provided in these terms.

Reserved Domain Terms

  • Reserved Terms: It is important to note that certain terms within the .AR domain may be reserved by the National Registry of .AR domains. The list of reserved terms, restrictions, and terms subject to approval can be found on the official website of NIC Argentina under "Listado de nombres reservados, restringidos y términos sujetos a aprobación" at https://nic.ar/ar/listado. Despite a domain from the list of reserved terms appearing as available in our system and a whois check, the registration of such domains is currently impossible.
  • Refund Policy: In the event that a client has paid for a domain containing a term listed as reserved, we will promptly issue a full refund and provide a detailed explanation for the unavailability of the requested domain. We encourage our clients to review the NIC Argentina list before making domain registration payments to avoid any inconvenience in this regard.

Domain Transfers

  • Transfer Process: Please note that automatic transfer is not available for .AR domains. If a client wishes to manage their .AR domains with us and transfer them to ABC.AR, the current domain owner data within NIC Argentina needs to be modified, and our trustee will be inserted.
  • Initiating the Transfer: To start the transfer process, the client needs to create and pay the order on our website, indicating the specific domain(s) they wish to transfer. Once the order is placed, we will provide the client with additional details on how to initiate the transfer with their current registrar. This step-by-step guidance ensures a smooth and efficient transfer process.
  • Modification of Domain Owner Data: To facilitate the transfer, the client can work with their current registrar to modify the domain owner data within NIC Argentina. This process involves updating the registration details to include our trustee, ensuring a seamless transition of domain management to ABC.AR. If the domains for transfer are currently managed, this step can be coordinated with the current registrar.
  • Expiration Extension: The expiration date of any domain transferred to ABC.AR will be extended by one year from the date of transfer completion, providing clients with continued ownership and control over their domains.

Domain Renewal

  • Early Renewal: Clients have the option to renew their domains with ABC.AR before the expiration date. However, it is important to note that the renewal within the National Registry of .AR domains is allowed not earlier than 30 days before the expiration date. Clients are encouraged to plan their renewals accordingly to ensure timely extension of their domain registration.
  • Restoration of Expired Domain: In the event that a domain expires, clients have the opportunity to restore it within 30 days after the expiration date by paying an additional Grace Period fee. This fee covers the restoration process and allows clients to retain ownership of their expired domain. It is essential to initiate the restoration process within this specified period to prevent any potential loss of the domain.

Compliance with NIC Argentina Regulations

  • Regulatory Adherence: We comply with all regulations and policies set forth by NIC Argentina, as per the current regulations in force. For detailed information and the latest updates on these regulations, please refer to NIC Argentina’s official documentation, available at:

  • Language of Regulations: Please note that the original NIC Argentina Regulations are available only in Spanish. Clients are solely responsible for translating these regulations into English or any other language necessary for their understanding and compliance. Yogl Limited is not responsible for providing translation or ensuring the accuracy of translated content.
  • Updates and Amendments: Our Terms of Service will be updated to reflect any changes in NIC Argentina's regulations or other applicable laws. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.

Use of Domain Names

  • Prohibited Uses: Domain names must not be used for illegal activities, spamming, infringement of intellectual property rights, or any activities that are offensive or discriminatory.
  • Rights and Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for ensuring that their use of domain names does not infringe on the rights of third parties or violate any laws.

Dispute Resolution

  • NIC Argentina's Dispute Resolution Framework: Disputes regarding domain name registration or ownership under the .AR domain will be governed in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in NIC Argentina’s Provision 187/2023. This Provision establishes guiding criteria for the resolution of disputes regarding registrations of internet domain names in Argentina.
  • Guiding Criteria: The criteria as outlined in Provision 187/2023 include, but are not limited to, considerations of domain name registration and usage in cases of confusion, deception, bad faith, abuse, blocking access to other users, lack of real use, and other similar situations.
  • Yogl Limited's Role in Dispute Resolution: We will assist our clients in disputes by notifying them about any disputes initiated against their domain names, transferring all relevant dispute-related documents received from NIC Argentina, submitting a response on behalf of Yogl Limited, if applicable, and keeping the client informed about the outcome of the dispute.
  • Client Responsibility: The client is responsible for the lawful use of their domain and for providing necessary justifications to protect their rights in a dispute. Clients are required to cooperate in the dispute resolution process as per NIC Argentina's guidelines.
  • Limitation of Liability: Yogl Limited is not responsible for the decisions made by NIC Argentina in the resolution of disputes. This includes any decisions leading to the cancellation, transfer, or loss of rights to a domain. Clients will not hold Yogl Limited liable for any outcome of such disputes.

Limitation of Liability

  • Service Limitations: Yogl Limited is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Indemnification: Clients agree to indemnify and hold Yogl Limited harmless from any claims arising from their use of our services.

Privacy and Data Protection

  • Data Handling: We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients’ data in compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws.

Modification of Terms

  • Revision Rights: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
